Project Information

Your Enquiry. Your Information.

How contact details and project messages are handled.

What This Notice Covers

This notice explains how enquiry details submitted through Hull Steel Fabricators are used. The website is intended for commercial and industrial project enquiries. Please provide only the personal and project information needed to discuss the work.

Information You Provide

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, selected service and project message. It also records the website from which the enquiry was sent and your agreement to sharing with a suitable local firm. Do not include sensitive personal information or confidential technical files in the initial message.

How Enquiries Are Used And Shared

We use the information to understand and respond to the project enquiry. With your agreement, your details and message may be passed to a suitable local firm so it can discuss the work with you. The form asks for that agreement before you submit.

The receiving firm is responsible for explaining how it handles information it receives and for agreeing any subsequent work with you. Your initial enquiry does not place an order or create a contract for fabrication. We do not use the enquiry form to request permission for unrelated marketing.

Retention And Security

Enquiry information should be kept only for as long as needed to handle the request, deal with related questions and meet applicable legal obligations. Access should be limited to people who need it for those purposes. No online transmission can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.

Please avoid sending commercially sensitive drawings through the initial form. If detailed documents are needed, agree an appropriate transfer method with the firm discussing the project.

Your Choices And Rights

Under applicable UK data protection law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. The rights available depend on the circumstances. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Use the enquiry form to request help with personal information, describing the earlier enquiry without adding unnecessary personal details. If a local firm has already contacted you, you can also address requests concerning its records directly to that firm. You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Technical Information

This static website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Google Fonts is used to display the typefaces and your browser contacts Google to request those font files. Hosting and enquiry infrastructure may process technical request information for operation, security and delivery.

This notice should be reviewed if the website’s data handling changes. Last updated: 22 October 2026.
